Blog Question: Should kids solve their own problems or should adults/parents get involved? Explain.
Answer: When we are kids we want to be more independent. Involving parents in a problem of yours only leads to more trouble. If someone is bullying you, you are going to have to think of a plan. If you involve your parents they are probably going to talk to the cause of the whole mess. After the parents have a cup of coffee and start talking you can be sure that they are going to talk to thier son/daughter. The bully is going to find out that you tattled on him and he is going to beat the day light out of you. More of your friends will think you are a tattle and will not be your friend anymore. No one wants to be friends with a tattle. Thinking by yourself and solving your own problems will be good experience for the future. Involving your parents may cost you your friends and it may even cost you grades.
Involving your parents may give you stress and it may also cause you to be more depressed most of the time. It is better to not tell your parents and solve the problem your self. Parents may even say things you do not want them to say.
